What is the function of UHMWPE lining?
The most important function of a UHMWPE bed liner is “protection”.
Folded liners, for example, protect the transport surface of a vehicle from mechanical forces and damage from oil or metal surfaces. This also significantly reduces the risk of corrosion and increases the service life of the transport surface. This is especially true for dump trucks, which, without a liner, have to be lifted at least 60% in order to fully lower the material. With a liner, it only needs to lift 35%, which really reduces the risk of rollover and speeds up unloading.
